Amazing asian food for a reasonable price!
Been around for a looong time (about a decade I think?). It's a Chinese cafe/dim sum/ restaurant spot. Has good non-alcoholic drinks like boba tea and there are some cheap, tasty meal options. Also, opened late on weekends! Till at least 2am iirc
It's 2am. I'm in Queens. Having a four course Chinese dinner for under $20. Great service. Food is phenomenal. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again!
This place is a haven for late night food. It's amazing to find a place so late at night, when your craving for some food, that's open. This place on Google Maps is called "Sunway" for some reason but it's actually called "39 Kings Cafe". The inside is nice, will lit, clean and full of wait staff. You'd think this late at night there'd be one waiter working for the whole restaurant but nope, this place is doing it right. I had a beef rice cake and shrimp dumpling, both were delicious, cheap and full of flavor. I would definitely come back here.
Fast and attentive service. Well priced.
Good variety of Chinese food at reasonable prices. This place is a good late night choice and they serve dim sum anytime. The menu for Chinese food is substantial, about 8 pages long. They also have a good selection of bubble teas, fruit drinks and my wife and I especially like their frothy coffee which comes in it's own small pot. They are open late and parking in the municipal lot at 39th Ave. and Prince St. Is usually available if you go after 10 PM. The prices are pretty good and we have never had to wait for seating although they always seem fairly busy. To me the only downside is their chairs are not so comfortable but bearable for the time spent eating.
I always come here to get the dish in my picture (forgot what it is called). There’s two dishes (shrimp lobster sauce and sweet and sour chicken) on the top and fried rice on the bottom! What a great idea. It’s so tasty and flavorful. The mix of the two sauces and the rice is absolutely phenomenal! The dim sum dishes are also pretty great. I can’t wait to go back here. The prices are pretty reasonable and the serving size is relatively big.
Super tasty dim sum and the owner was really nice! I had the pork bao and the garlic spare ribs with an iced Hong Kong style tea. When I paid I had a really nice conversation about how the tea was made because it was unlike anything I had had before!
Food was great. Service could be better. Cash only!
Legit, interior feels really canto, and i noticed they clean the tables really well after customers leave
Hong Kong style tea taste that’s not even close. I have had better from a bakery shop. The rice roll is as bad.
The three star is because the vegetarian spring rolls ordered was soaked in oil. Lovely ambience, quick response and friendly staff. We ordered pork ribs, sea food rice and Beef vegetable sauce. It was very tasty and well prepared.
Food is very good and came out quick. Plus they also serve specialty drinks. Prices are reasonable.
Cash only, no credit card accepted. There is a ATM machine at the front for those who forget to bring enough cash. Hong Kong style food. Dim sum is served during dinner time as well. The fried rice we had had too much sauce. The rice roll was not soft enough. Although not the best food, I liked the taste of what we ordered.
Delicious and cheap. We eat way too much every time.
Dim sum are the best! Plus I love chicken salt fish fried rice 😋
Loved the food and the staff! Will definitely be going back!
First of all, this place is actually called 39 Kings Cafe. The food was delicious, priced well, and authentic. The 奶皇包 (custard bun) was almost like a half 流沙包 (idk what the English is) - def would recommend. The service was pretty good and the owner seemed very hard working. The place is decorated well and seemed very casual and modern. Good place not to only bring your family but also to go individually.
Ordered two bowls of congee, one steam rice roll and one chicken and corn soup. Congee was watery and not much ingredients in it - I think it’s microwaved. Steam rice roll was too thick, not the HK style and probably microwaved too since it wasn’t hot enough. Chicken corn soup was full of msg.
A lot of variety of foods to choose from. One of the places we frequent since it's open 24-7. Love the beef curry over egg noodles and I always order extra sauce. Reasonable prices, sheet of paper each table and just check off the dimsum you like. Their drinks are also numerous from apple green tea flavored to the more traditional teas. Slushies, boba drinks so many to choose from. This place only accepts cash so be ready, they do have an atm on the premises if you are short on cash.
Excellent food good service no atmosphere
Bought peking duck there...wasnt very fresh and tasted like they heated up old duck. They were very nice though.
Word of advice: do NOT order the dried chicken with corn sauce rice dish! I ordered thinking it would be some sort of chicken with corn. BUT NO. What I got was a plate of concentrated corn soup with diced minced chicken. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. What they literally did was take their soup and a bowl of rice and called it a new dish. I feel like I've been cheated. Milk tea was the only thing that was good, which is why I'm giving it two stars.
Good food at late hours. Fast service and clean restaurant.
Awesome cha-chan-tang style place. There is a variety of affordable and delicious dishes. Cozy place to eat and talk.
Prices are reaonable Foods are always goodQuick service
The food was so good! Everything came out hot and fresh, very delicious. Service was excellent, will definitely be back again!
This restaurant seems to have changed its name but the menu is pretty much the same. My favorite dish here is the kalbi and rice. The sauce is really good and the drinks are tasty as well.
Food was great here and service staff were attentive. Great view of the sidewalks
Not the REAL thing but ok for the craving. While the price is cheaper than the real thing.
Friendly staff, food comes out quick & prices are reasonable. Great to come with a group.
House steak was really good and the shrimp Mayo was delicious 👌
Hong Kong style restaurant with dim sumWe got the stroller in, which is not easy for a Sunday afternoon. There is a TV here. When we arrived it was showing English premier league, which is good for us.
A lovely cafe with great service and great food.Prices are a little high: Dim Sum is actually not very expensive to make so the cost is mostly profit/overhead.They offer great smoothies, bubble teas and fruit teas, but again, prices are a little high.
Food are normal and price is reasonable. The place is quiet and clean. Hot tea is cold.
Huge menu, I love to come here for lunch and they have dim sum here as well.
My favorite place to eat in flushing. Delicious fresh food and great service. I love the stir fried salmon with green beans and XO sauce.(it’s not on the menu). The porchop steak is great, the noodle soups are delicious. I have not had anything that I did not enjoy. The staff at night is super friendly. Great place and it’s open late.
We always come here for dim sum. The selection isn't huge but we get our fix here. It's so simple to order. They have a sheet and you just check off what you want. They speak English here as most dim sum places don't. Coming back again.
Service attentive food okay to good. No real complaints. AC was great on a hot summer day. CASH ONLY!
It's a great place for dim sum. Also a great place for late night food and snacks. Bubble tea is amazing. I also love the passion fruit smoothie with bubbles. Prices are great. Good place with large groups, small groups or even yourself. Fast service and clean restaurant. Bathrooms are okay, not the cleanest.
Good place to go for fast and cheap food. They have lunch specials for $6 that comes with soup and drink. The staff are really nice, food comes out fast, place is clean and usually never crowded.
I Love Chinese food. This place has very good milk tea and wonton noodles. Very fast service
Food is great here all the time. Cash only please.
Hot food open 24 hours
This place has Hong Kong style dim sum, rice and noodle dishes. We like the pineapple fried rice here since it’s the same price as the young chow fried rice. They have big chunks of pineapple in the rice and it’s not greasy. Their shrimp rice rolls were a little too thick for our linking but the shrimps are large and appreciated. There’s also a lot of seating, which is a plus. The staff are also very nice.
As a true Hong Konger, I was impressed by the majority of the dim sum on offer at 39 Kings Cafe. Before visiting I was slightly put off by its odd branding, but it's a true, solid dim sum restaurant, right in the heart of Flushing.
Rice is a little dry but lo. Mein and garlic chicken with brocoli is delicious, and i always have weird requests and they are very helpful.
Went for some dinner time dim sum craving and if you are considering having dim sum for dinner, try not to. Dim sum is definitely sub par. The steam buns seemed like something they heated in the microwave, with some of the other dim sum seemed like it was made on premise, however the food just does not seem like it was steamed. For instance the bamboo steamer they brought out were not steaming hot or moist. The noodles I ordered were however all dente with a definite bite to it. Overall, this place is convenient with a variety of food options that compromises quality.
